PPHI Best Model for South Asia

People Primary Health Care Initiative has been declared as the best health management model for South Asia by the World Bank. The credit goes to the dedicated management team and unwavering support by the government. PPHI is a great source to extend the support to ailing community of rural areas of Pakistan. PPHI's mandate is to turn nonfunctional Basic Health Units BHUs in Pakistan into Best Heatlh Facility Centers. The PPHI is overtaking the charge of these BHUs from the District Government and is in the process to fully operationalise the basic health units and develop new health management set up and return it to District Government.
The Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet and Special Initiative along with other Senator members of Senate Standing Committee carried out a surprise visit to Sukkur District in Sindh Province, Pakistan. Few shots of the visit are attached.
